Kindle
You have received a Kindle file from us (.azw3).
Method 1 (most direct): copy to your Kindle via USB
- Connect your Kindle to your computer via a USB cable (use a data cable; some cables only charge).
- Unlock your Kindle if prompted, and wait until your computer detects the device.
- On your computer, open:
- Windows: File Explorer → you will see “Kindle” as a drive/device.
- Mac: Finder → under “Locations” you will see “Kindle” (as connected storage).
- Open the Documents folder (on some models this is called documents).
- Drag your .azw3 file to the Documents folder.
- Safely eject the Kindle and disconnect the cable.
- On your Kindle: go to Library. Your book usually appears within a few seconds (sometimes it helps to go back to Home or briefly restart the Kindle).
Method 2: via Calibre (useful if you manage many books)
- Install Calibre on your computer.
- Open Calibre → click Add books and add your AZW3 file.
- Connect your Kindle via USB and wait until Calibre recognises your device.
- Select the book → click Send to device.
- Eject your Kindle and check your Library.
Quick troubleshooting
- Kindle not showing on your computer: try a different USB cable/port (many “charging cables” do not transfer data).
- Book not showing on the Kindle: check that it is actually in Documents (not in a subfolder), and try sync/restart.
